Westgate Bowling!

On Tuesday 27 Dec and Thursday 29 Dec (Kisu Mama's birthday), we went to Westgate Bowling. On Tuesday, we went with Neemasi, Sairamasi and Mahinmama. On the 1st game I got 71, the 2nd game I got 82. When we played Mini Golf on hole 4 there is a pipe where you can get a hole in one. On hole 8 The people who got a hole in one were Raneel, Mum and Mahinmama.

On Kisumama's Birthday I got 71. The people who were there were Bharti Kaki, Missy Masi, Jaidin Mama, Zayde Mama, Shay, Jiya, Kiran Mama, Preeti Mami, Ani Masi, Mike Masa, G Masi, Nayan Mama, Kisumama, Neemasi, Thakor Aja, Big Aji and Rukhki Aji. After bowling I had lunch. I had hot chocolate, ham and cheese pizza, fish and chips and a chocolate sundae....it was so yummy!

Christmas 2011

Hello everyone,

SORRY I haven't had update my blog lately. I hope you all had a good Christmas.

On Christmas Eve, we went to Hu Ba and Dada's for the Patel's Christmas Party. There were lots of us there including D Dada's and P Kaka's families. We all played cricket outside and then we had a Barbeque before we opened our presents. I got lots of presents, including a little basketball and Mumbai Indians tee shirt with my name at the back.

For my Christmas, I woke up at 6:46 in the morning and went straight to the Christmas tree. Heres a joke for everybody - "The basketball hoop was too big for santa's sack and my stocking. So santa told my mum and dad to put it up for him." It was huge. It also had an ADIDAS basketball inside the hoop. I got a big soccer goal and a big bag of presents from Mum and Dad! Then we went to Pt Chev Ba and Dada's to see Nyah - it was her first Christmas. After that, we went to Masiba's and Masaji Dada's to see Subhash Kaka, Seema Kaki, Dhillon and Ashwin who came from Australia. We also saw Ravi Kaka, Priya Foi and Bombay Dada and Ba. Then we went to Aja's house in Whenuapai and we all got to wear a teeshirt with a picture of Magan Dada on it - my teeshirt was Black! My favourite presents were my Auckland Blues Teeshirt, my Crusaders Teeshirt and the cupcake maker.

On Boxing Day, we went to see the Telecom Christmas Tree at the Viaduct. It was really cool and we got to control the lights on the iPad! Then we went to Franklin Rd to see all the Christmas lights on the houses - they were so cool!

Riya, Rohan, Ba Foi and Fuaji came back from Wellington yesterday and we did some more presents!

The Santa Parade!

Last Sunday we went to the Santa Parade. We saw Mickey Mouse, Kung Fu Panda, Donald Duck, Mr Potato Head, Bob the Builder, big dinosaurs, Kashin the elephant, lots of dancers, some Auckland Blues players, and Santa in his sleigh. We had a good spot right at the front so we could see everything. On the way home, we got ice blocks to eat while we walked. I had fun at the Santa parade.

Grey Lynn Festival!

This morning we went to the Grey Lynn Festival. I saw some of my school friends. I saw Tama and Holly. My best thing I loved was going on the mini jeeps and the big slide. I felt happy because we went to the Grey Lynn Festival!

Athletics Day!

On Thursday we went to Grey Lynn Park for our Athletics Day. I was in the Semi-Finals and the Final. I came 2nd in the semi finals and 3rd in the final. Mum, Dad, Raneel and Point Chev Dada came to watch me.
I felt proud because I got 3rd and I also got a certificate.

Guy Fawkes Day Today!!

Tonight we went outside after eight thirty and we did sparklers and Mum and Dad did the fireworks in our backyard. We also saw our next door neighbours fireworks - they were so high and big!

Funky Hat Day 2011

Today it was Funky Sunsafe Hat Day at my school. My funky hat had black and white stripes, little rugby shirts, little rugby balls and a kiwi rugby player at the front of my funky hat. We had a parade on the court and all the children walked around so the parents and family could see all the cool hats. My favourite hat was Joel's hat, which was so tall! I had a super great time today.

There was also a cool rugby field hat - it won a Best Hat class award!
