My trip to Whangamata (from March!)

 This was what I wrote on my class blog - I got a certificate at my school assembly for "writing a gleaming recount on Rm 15's blog!"

On Friday I went to a place called Whangamata. It takes you about 2 hours to 4 hours if you were driving. Our number house on our mailbox was 218A. We went with Dad, Mum, Raneel, Zaydenbhai, Yashani, Raju Kaka and Beena Masi. For dinner on Friday I had  Fish and Chips. On Saturday for dinner we had a BBQ, For our BBQ we had Sausages and Chops. On Saturday for breakfast I had Pancakes, Eggs, Bacon and Hot Chocolate for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday morning on Tv I saw a Small Blacks ad. Dan Carter was on TV, Israel Dagg and Conrad (Snakey) Smith on Small Blacks News on TV. We also played Cricket near Whangamata Beach. I got 22 runs when I was batting. When I was bowling I got 5 wickets 20 runs then we went to the beach and we made a 9 cm hole at the beach it was so long. Then we went to the beach and we saw Alesha Masi. When I batted near the beach in cricket my boundaries were 3 fours an 1 towering six was 97 metres. When I bogeyboarded my distance was 96 kms plus."5 wickets 20 runs. Your kidding". I said. At the beach when I saw a 13 cm wave I had to go a long, long way back to the sand. We also made a house out of sand too. We had to go on our Whangamata trip for 3 days + 2 nights. When I had my pancakes, eggs, bacon and hot chocolate for breakfast, I had maple syrup on my 2 pancakes. We also did soccer passes at the beach. Went for a swim too. When the big wave came to me I went BOOSH into the water I go. I felt freaky because I saw a big wave coming up to me.

Raneel has finished his first term at school!

On Monday 20th February 2012, Raneel started school. Gail is Raneel's teacher. We walk to school on Mondays and Fridays. The first day he started he got to bring Buddy Bear home. Raneel is a star at reading and maths. When I have been sick, Raneel has been a good boy when I had my 2 days off school. I sometimes look after Raneel at morning tea and lunchtime. You have 20 minutes out at morning tea time. We have 55 minutes out at lunch for a break.
Raneel was very tired on his first - he fell asleep on the sofa after school! After dinner and his shower, he had to do his homework with Buddy Bear. I like having Raneel at school with me.

Our first trip to Snowplanet!

Today we went to Snowplanet for the first time. I liked it when I was skiing. First I used the skis and the poles and second when I skiied with no poles. I like skiing without the poles the best. The temperature inside where the snow was -1 to -3 degrees Celsius. We had a break in between skiing and went to the restaurant. I had hot chocolate with 100's and 1000's inside it, pizza and chips. So then we went back into the snow. We also went on the sleds. I liked Snowplanet because it was my first time skiing and to see the snow.

Lantern Festival - 2012 Year of the Dragon

On Saturday 4 February, we went to the lantern festival in Albert Park in the city. There were so many people there. We saw some cool lanterns we saw dragons, stars and the moon. We also did the laughing clowns where you put the balls in the clown and you get points. On another game, I spun the wheel and I landed on the colour blue - my prize was the bag of snakes. Raneel also spun the wheel and he landed on the colour pink - his prize was a lamp that had a radio and a phone charger on it.

Riya and Rohans Auckland Holiday

On the 18th of December 2011, Riya and Rohan came to Auckland for their Christmas holiday. We had lots of fun with them. We went to Pt Chev Park one day, and we also had a dance party on New Years Eve with Dhillon, Ashwin and Riya. We also went to the Muppets movie at St Lukes, but we left before the end and then we had McDonald's for lunch!

Westgate Bowling!

On Tuesday 27 Dec and Thursday 29 Dec (Kisu Mama's birthday), we went to Westgate Bowling. On Tuesday, we went with Neemasi, Sairamasi and Mahinmama. On the 1st game I got 71, the 2nd game I got 82. When we played Mini Golf on hole 4 there is a pipe where you can get a hole in one. On hole 8 The people who got a hole in one were Raneel, Mum and Mahinmama.

On Kisumama's Birthday I got 71. The people who were there were Bharti Kaki, Missy Masi, Jaidin Mama, Zayde Mama, Shay, Jiya, Kiran Mama, Preeti Mami, Ani Masi, Mike Masa, G Masi, Nayan Mama, Kisumama, Neemasi, Thakor Aja, Big Aji and Rukhki Aji. After bowling I had lunch. I had hot chocolate, ham and cheese pizza, fish and chips and a chocolate sundae....it was so yummy!
